He Makes Up For Lost Times

If you ever find yourself in a quagmire, or in some unpleasant situation, don’t fret or think that you’re helpless. Don’t say, “This is my worst time in life!” Christ lives in you, and that’s what matters. He’s the restorer of wasted years, time, resources, money, energy, etc. He’ll make up for lost time. No human being or government may ever be able to give back to you what you’ve lost, but God can! He’s the God that “quickens the dead,” that is, gives life to the dead. He can bring back everything, and more!

He can restore peace and order back to your life; you need not fret or be dismayed. Mark 4:37-41 tells a story of how the disciples set their sail, and the winds became boisterous and waves billowed into the boat to sink it. They were really in a fix. But Jesus was at the back of the boat, sleeping. Startled at the ravaging storms and the billowing waves, the disciples woke Him up and said, “Master, don’t you care that we perish?”

Jesus woke up and gave the word, “Peace, be still,” and there was a great calm. It made no difference how strong the tempest was; what mattered was that the Master was in their boat. Same way, Christ is in you today, and by His Spirit, He’ll cause you to be triumphant and laugh your way through life.

Stick to the Word; even when you think time isn’t in your favour to accomplish certain things, don’t push the panic button! Keep your composure; the God who lives in you is the owner of time. He can restore wasted years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, and even wasted moments. He can move you a hundred paces forward, far ahead of your competitors, detractors and adversaries.

Say these words to yourself now: By the power of the Holy Spirit, I’m making progress, far ahead of my competitors, detractors and adversaries. I’m guided by the Holy Spirit, who also has made my life beautiful and made me the testimony of God’s righteousness and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Victory is not a Myth

Victory is what we all love. The very thought of it gives us confidence. No wonder the bible says in (Romans 8:37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved you. To say “we are more than conquerors” means that the victory over our adversary is a foregone conclusion; we are no longer celebrating his defeat, rather we live and dwell in victory. Imagine yourself as a sportsman, who wins a gold medal. Of course you will lift up your trophy in celebration and everyone will rejoice with you. Afterwards, the official tells you that your victory is worth 5 million dollars, which immediately is paid into your account. Immediately you start living off your prize-money, you are no longer celebrating your victory, but living in victory; because you are now using the money you won. In the same way, you should no longer be struggling with the devil, fear, sickness, disease, or with failure, for you live in the victory of Christ.

When the Lord Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, He announced, “All hail” (Matthew 28:9). This was a shout of victory. 1 John 3:8 says, “…For this purpose was the Son of God manifested that He might destroy (shatter, paralyse) the works of the devil.” The enemy has been defeated and his works, paralysed. Jesus has already done it. He is not trying to make us victorious today; we are victors in Him. We are not trying to conquer; we are more than conquerors.

Our victory over Satan, his cohorts, and their evil works of darkness was announced when Jesus defeated and paralysed them in hell. You celebrated that victory when you found out that you were in Christ in His triumph over Satan and the cohorts of hell. Now, we’re more than conquerors; living in the victory of Christ.

If you’re a Christian today, this is your season of open doors. Just step into the Victory that Christ has won for you and start living in it. This is one of your natural endowments as a Christian, and no one can stop you.

Thank you dearly beloved partners of Rhapsody of Realities for your outstanding victories in every city and town you distributed Rhapsody of Realities.

Saved by Words

To be “blessed” is not just a religious cliché. It’s a living reality. Rhapsody of Realities is a blessing to families, communities and nations all over the world. In several countries tremendous blessings were recorded as a result of the free distribution of Rhapsody of Realities.

Here’s a remarkable testimony we received from Mary Ann Legaspi in the Phillipines….

“I was so accustomed to the constant use of negative words in my conversations; so much that I speak very carelessly without a thought. A couple of months ago, I had an argument with my husband, I got angry and I talked to him roughly but to my surprise he said to me; “Ann, do not speak negative words, instead speak words in agreement to what the word of God said”. When he was through, I frowned and left the room.

Moments later, after I had calmed down, I wondered why my husband was so calm and nice to me even though I had spoken to him in a wrong manner. Then I remembered he had been reading Rhapsody of Realities every day; he even kept a copy on the shelf. I grabbed the devotional and started reading. I really couldn’t stop reading it!  To my amazement, one of the articles confirmed exactly what my husband said to me. From that day, I erased negative words from my vocabulary; now I speak faith filled words from the confessions in the devotional to my body, family and work. And amazingly; the exact words that I speak happen to me.”

Rhapsody of Realities indeed captivated my spirit. I’m so engrossed with it. It’s always like the articles by Pastor Chris and Pastor Anita Oyakhilome was written just for me.”

Use The Name

The Name of Jesus is the Name above all names; in that Name is vested all authority in heaven, in earth and the regions of the damned. In that Name, you can alter unfavourable economic situations to your advantage, and effect positive changes in your nation of residence. God has highly exalted and given Jesus a Name, which is above every name; such that by the instrumentality of His Name, you can change anything, and achieve anything! The Name has efficacy by the very mention of it. When you make decrees in His Name, about your physical body, finances, family, the economic situation, etc., the Name of Jesus seals it. If a Christian were diagnosed with cancer for example, he doesn’t need to see it as a death sentence. He can use the Name of Jesus to destroy the cancer. What he needs is to place his hand where the tumour or growth is and say, “In the Name of Jesus, cancer, I command you to die and pass out of my body.”

Use the Name of Jesus fearlessly and without doubt. Remember, demons, principalities and powers of darkness cannot resist the authority of that Name. When fear attacks you, use the Name; say, “In the Name of Jesus, I rebuke fear; I refuse to fear!” No matter the challenges you’re faced with, don’t panic or cry; say, “I command a change in the Name of Jesus,” and it shall be so. O, the power of His Name and the victory and dominion we have in Him! If you’re in any predicament today, use the Name of Jesus as an instrument. Declare that in His Name, you have the wisdom to do excellently in every situation. Live victoriously every day—in His Name.

Say this to yourself: “I live by the dominion of Christ, and power of the Spirit today, and declare that I’m prospering in all my endeavours because I live in the Name of Jesus: the Name above every name. I live triumphantly in all circumstances of life. Blessed be God!”

Use Your Faith

…Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.  Matthew 17:20

The Word of God is real and true, but that doesn’t mean the experiences of your life will automatically line up with it. You’re the one to make them so. This is the fight of faith the Apostle Paul talked about in 1 Timothy 6:12: “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

You’re the one to appropriate all that Christ has accomplished on your behalf in spite of everything your physical senses may otherwise perceive. You’re the one to subdue the circumstances around you, the forces or the symptoms that attack you, and effect the change! There’re those who say, “I believe the Word, but why are things not working out right for me?” It’s like someone who’s hoping that God will set him free someday; that’s not going to work, even though he believes it, because that’s not faith.

“Believing” the Word is not enough; your believing must translate to faith. Faith declares the Word to be real and true NOW, and acts accordingly. The contrary circumstances will not change by themselves, or change because you believe. Romans 10:10 says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness….” Believing sets your heart right with God; it makes your heart acceptable to Him; that’s the reason you know in your heart that God loves and accepts you, but that’ll not change the circumstances of your life. For your situation to change or to maintain a life of continuous progress and triumph, it’s got to be by your faith.

Hebrews 11:1 says “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is calling real that which you’ve hoped for; you count it done now! It’s like the title-deed to a property. You don’t have to be in the property to know it’s yours; faith is the title deed. Take a hold of God’s Word and affirm your healing and health, prosperity, success, and victory in Christ Jesus! The second part of Romans 10:10 says, “…with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Say this to yourself:

My faith is the victory that overcomes the world; nothing is impossible unto me! I live victoriously today because I live in, and by, the Word; I’ve taken hold of my victorious life in Christ Jesus, basking gloriously in health, peace, prosperity, success, and abundance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
