Victory is not a Myth

Victory is what we all love. The very thought of it gives us confidence. No wonder the bible says in (Romans 8:37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved you. To say “we are more than conquerors” means that the victory over our adversary is a foregone conclusion; we are no longer celebrating his defeat, rather we live and dwell in victory. Imagine yourself as a sportsman, who wins a gold medal. Of course you will lift up your trophy in celebration and everyone will rejoice with you. Afterwards, the official tells you that your victory is worth 5 million dollars, which immediately is paid into your account. Immediately you start living off your prize-money, you are no longer celebrating your victory, but living in victory; because you are now using the money you won. In the same way, you should no longer be struggling with the devil, fear, sickness, disease, or with failure, for you live in the victory of Christ.

When the Lord Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, He announced, “All hail” (Matthew 28:9). This was a shout of victory. 1 John 3:8 says, “…For this purpose was the Son of God manifested that He might destroy (shatter, paralyse) the works of the devil.” The enemy has been defeated and his works, paralysed. Jesus has already done it. He is not trying to make us victorious today; we are victors in Him. We are not trying to conquer; we are more than conquerors.

Our victory over Satan, his cohorts, and their evil works of darkness was announced when Jesus defeated and paralysed them in hell. You celebrated that victory when you found out that you were in Christ in His triumph over Satan and the cohorts of hell. Now, we’re more than conquerors; living in the victory of Christ.

If you’re a Christian today, this is your season of open doors. Just step into the Victory that Christ has won for you and start living in it. This is one of your natural endowments as a Christian, and no one can stop you.

Man At His Best

The world’s economies are in shambles today in spite of the great work of the best economists and financial teachers of the world. There’re several books and teachings on success, that may be helpful on a temporary and earthly basis, but devoid of spiritual insight. No wonder, those who feed on them fail sooner or later for their principles were based on human wisdom.

All the economic theories and postulations are crumbling, but God’s Word gives us hope and wisdom. God has given us His Word to teach us how to live a joyous, successful, vibrant, and prosperous life. Only God’s Word can make you a true success. Psalm 39:5 says “…verily, every man at his best state is altogether vanity.” Human wisdom or expertise is not enough to put you over in life. You need the Holy Spirit, the Author of life Himself, to take you through His Word, and help you be successful in life.

Joshua 1:8 unveils God’s tested and guaranteed recipe for unending success: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Embrace the wisdom of God. Proverbs 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom…”; and wisdom is the Word of God. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. (Acts 20:32).

Everything you’d ever need for a successful life is wrapped up in the Word; continually feed the Word into your spirit! It’s the infallible manual for a successful, victorious and prosperous life.

Say this Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that’s building me up, and by which I live every day in victory, and prosperity. As I meditate on your Word today, my success and progress are manifested in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
